For each COMAH establishment the CA is represented by the relevant safety body (HSE or ONR at nuclear establishments), working jointly with the appropriate agency for the locality.

CBA is the voice of the UK chemical supply chain. It represents a wide range of businesses – from distributors and traders to manufacturers and blenders as well as logistics and service providers. The majority of CBA members are small or medium-sized enterprises. CBA is a membership organisation and it is managed by its members for its members. CBA Council, the Association’s governing body, is elected from member companies. CBA also operates a series of Committees focusing on technical or operational policy issues.
The CIA is the organisation that represents chemical and pharmaceutical businesses throughout the UK. We represent all sizes of chemical and pharmaceutical businesses and approximately 70 % of our members are overseas headquartered. All CIA members are committed to Responsible Care principles. Responsible Care is a global voluntary initiative under which companies, through their national associations, work together to continuously improve their health, safety and environmental performance, and to communicate with customers and regulators about their products and processes.
Liquid Gas UK is the trade association representing companies that operate in the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) and bioLPG industry in the UK. Members include LPG producers, distributors, equipment and service providers, and vehicle converters. We are dedicated to the safe and effective development of LPG, with a focus on LPG’s role in providing low carbon heat and energy for homes and business that are off the mains gas grid, as well as helping to improve air quality in urban areas.
TSA is an industry based organisation whose members are dedicated to the professional provision of third party bulk liquid storage in the UK. Products stored typically include crude oil, petroleum and chemicals as well as potable liquids, edible oils and fats. Receipt and delivery of these products takes place by means of sea transport, inland barge, road, rail and cross country pipeline. Tank storage thus provides an essential interface between these various modes of transport.
UKPIA represents the interests of eight member companies engaged in the UK downstream oil industry on a range of common issues relating to refining, distribution and marketing of oil products, in non-competitive areas. UKPIA's role is to inform its members of proposed legislation and related developments, and to help form and advocate the industry's position. UKPIA is also an authoritative source of information and reference on the UK downstream industry.
