Attend open Board meetings

The Health and Safety Executive is committed to being open about what it does and, with the exception of any necessarily confidential business, much of the Board’s discussions at their meetings take place during open session. The Board regularly reviews its business and, as a consequence, a meeting previously advertised as open may be closed. Some Open Board meetings may include a Stakeholder event on a specific theme. These will generally be by invitation only. You can, however, register to attend using the registration form in the paragraph below and, subject to availability of places, you may also be able to attend the Stakeholder event.

Registering to attend an open meeting

Dates and locations of Board meetings are listed below. In order to be admitted to an open meeting, you must first register your interest at least five working days in advance by completing the registration form – attendees who have not registered beforehand WILL NOT be admitted to the meeting.

Places are strictly limited and allocated on a first-come-first-served basis and we operate a reserve list. Therefore if you have registered and later decide that you can no longer attend, please inform us by e-mail at general.account.secretariat@hse.gsi.gov.uk

The agenda and open papers for meetings are published as far as possible in advance and are accessible from the Health and Safety Executive Board Meetings page.
