Government guidance on how to prepare if the UK leaves the EU with no deal

The Government has now published information on contingency preparations across several different policy areas. These are available on gov.uk in a centralised location that is easy for people to access and use.

These notices set out information to allow businesses and citizens to understand what they would need to do in the unlikely event that the UK leaves the EU without an agreement (‘no deal’), so they can make informed plans and preparations.

The Government however remains committed to securing a negotiated outcome. Following the publication of the white paper for the future relationship on 12 July 2018, negotiations are continuing at pace to agree the terms of this future relationship alongside the Withdrawal Agreement and HSE is supporting this activity.
