The Action Plan is a key part of the strategy for health and safety (Helping Great Britain work well) as it is directly contributing to the theme of "Acting Together".

Some documents on this site are working documents and drafts.  Final approval of the documents will be given by PHASS.

  • TISA Event Cancellations - Covid-19
    In light of the Covid-19 outbreak, please be aware all future TISA meetings will be cancelled with immediate effect. We will monitor the situation closely and keep you posted with any updates. Future meetings will be announced once the virus is under control. Hoping all our members and affiliates follow guidance and stay safe.

  • Health and Safety in Voluntary Sector Scotland
    HaSiVSS (Health & Safety in Voluntary Sector Scotland) are working to promote and improve occupational health, well-being and safety within Scotland's not-for-profit sector. HaSiVSS would like to invite you to a FREE event at the Albany Centre in Glasgow on 25th March from 9:30 - 15:00. The day will have a focus on the safety of volunteers and staff and will include speakers from: - Suzy Lamplugh Trust - Personal safety - The Health and Safety Executive - Volunteer research - Healthy Working Lives - Supporting Charity and Voluntary sector organisations - Unison - Training - Volunteer Scotland - Case study - And more During the event you will be able to provide input into how HaSiVSS supports the sector in the future. ScORSA - Scottish Occupational Road Safety Alliance - As part of our research and evaluation activities, we are inviting you to participate in our national survey. The survey is being conducted by Research Scotland on behalf of ScORSA. We hope that the survey will help us to better understand the levels of awareness and the needs of organisations across Scotland regarding management of occupational road risk. The survey should take about 15 minutes to complete. Taking part is voluntary and the survey will be conducted anonymously. Please do feel free to pass the link onto others who may be interested in taking part.
