Free Webinar: Waste Industry Safety and Health (WISH) guidance during the COVID- 19 pandemic - a partnership approach - During COVID WISH has continually updated guidance relevant to the industry and its interface with the public. The consultative and inclusive approach has allowed guidance to develop as the pandemic evolved. The webinar will provide insights into lessons learned to date and emerging issues as of June 2020, supported by a BINN Group case study. The webinar will also explore driving for work, driver health and the importance of creating the right environment for a conversation with staff. Electrical Safety in the Home Environment - webinar

RoSPA Scotland is hosting a second home safety webinar on Tuesday 30th June at 11.00 am. The session will take approximately 20 minutes and will consider the everyday items that could potentially cause harm in your home but more importantly, will consider ways in which any injuries and damage can be avoided. Wayne Mackay of Electrical Safety First will give a short presentation on some of the key issues to consider during the current pandemic restrictions and beyond. Safely returning to work in Scotland SOM Online Symposium Via Zoom 4pm-5.30pm 1st July Providing a comprehensive approach to returning to work, including use of the SOM return to work toolkits. Objectives: 1. Describe the role that OH and other professionals play in returning employees back to work safely. 2. Assess the psychological impacts that the pandemic has on workers, and the strategies and resources needed to assist them.
