Electrical Safety in the Home Environment - webinar

RoSPA Scotland is hosting a second home safety webinar on Tuesday 30th June at 11.00 am. The session will take approximately 20 minutes and will consider the everyday items that could potentially cause harm in your home but more importantly, will consider ways in which any injuries and damage can be avoided. Wayne Mackay of Electrical Safety First https://www.electricalsafetyfirst.org.uk/ will give a short presentation on some of the key issues to consider during the current pandemic restrictions and beyond. Both Wayne and Liz Lumsden of RoSPA will be able to answer any questions you may have on electrical safety in the home either during, or by email following, the webinar. Safely returning to work in Scotland SOM Online Symposium Via Zoom 4pm-5.30pm 1st July Providing a comprehensive approach to returning to work, including use of the SOM return to work toolkits. Objectives: 1. Describe the role that OH and other professionals play in returning employees back to work safely. 2. Assess the psychological impacts that the pandemic has on workers, and the strategies and resources needed to assist them. Faculty: Introduction by Professor Ewan Macdonald, Glasgow University, Professor Anne Harriss, Dr Bethan Harrison, Kate Hinder (Wellbeing Adviser, BITC- Scotland); and wrap up and Q and A by Dr Kerry Freer, SOM Scotland Chair. Free - for a maximum of 100 participants.
