  • Mobbing - An Office Disease
    How workplace bullying can quickly escalate into mobbing, and begin to create havoc outside the workplace. The consequences can become very serious. The problem with any sort of bullying or aggression is the lack of escape for the victim. If an escape route can quickly be sought, the problem would be dealt with swiftly. We need to look into how companies can allow fast transfers to other departments, or allow, some breathing space elsewhere in the business, or, allow work from home to become an option, or allow some time off before behaviors get out of hand. individuals who have found themselves unemployed and even risk homelessness due to this phenomenon should also be fully supported by the DWP/Government in facilitating a return to work plan. Workers should not have their lives ruined by this type of disgraceful behavior.

    A case study demonstrating terrifying abuse of power within the corporate world. Workplaces are supposed to be somewhere safe, but what happens when bullying spills over into stalking? Incredible and outrageous that workplaces and managers are behind this destructive behaviour.

  • Build a high trust leadership style
    Lack of trust in the workplace, especially when there is power dynamic in the relationship can lead to all sorts of problems for all concerned. This is something that needs to be addressed, a good start would be employing natural leaders, people who care, but can also deliver for the company. An abuser would be drawn to positions of power, control, and money, whilst a true leader would not really care about such things and have the welfare of the staff and the company at heart.

  • Work Abuse and its Denial.
    The Secret Tragedy of Working: Work Abuse and its Denial. (never under estimate the power of denial) This document is so very true. I beleive this can be fixed, a combination of taking power from people who should not have power over others, and the recognition and utmost care for the healing of the victims. For Society to be healthy, for individuals to thrive, we have a responsibility to ensure our systems work as designed and life can thrive. This is being responsibile - as Viktor Frankl once explained. Did we learn nothing from these horrid experiences and great men who overcame them. I wonder.
